These M51 cotton field pants were used by the U.S. Army in the 1950's. These pants were made based on the WWII airborne pants and have a long history leading to the later Jungle Fatigue pants and M65 pants. These pants are almost 60 years old and are in good condition with little fading. There are no noticeable stains, scratches, or repairs, but the inside of the pants have a sense of use. The white inner lining has turned a sepia color with age. There are stains and spots around the pant hips and knees. There is a sense of use. This is an old item and will be treated as used.
