This is a paratrooper jacket in lizard camouflage used by the French Army in the Indochina War in the 1950s. This pattern is called TAP 47/53. This jacket has a beavertail on the back like a tail, which is missing from many lots. The overall size is large and in near-unused condition. Lizard camouflage is said to be the origin of tiger stripe camouflage, and is characterized by its dokutoku brushstroke stripes. Overall, this is a beautiful jacket and can still be enjoyed. It is a used item and cannot be returned. Please understand.
