These lizard camouflage pants were used by French paratroopers during the Indochina War in the 1950s.

Lizard camouflage is the camouflage pattern used by the French Army, which is said to be the origin of the Tiger Stripe, mainly in the Indochina War. It is said that the Tiger Stripe was developed locally from there and the surplus was taken over by the South Vietnamese army every time the French army withdrew.

This jacket is the last in the lineage of TAP 47/51, which was used relatively late in the war. It was used not only in the Indochina War but also on the Algerian front, and the color has been improved. These are very good pants. They are made larger for airborne jackets. The lot was given to the Israeli army, so the text is stamped on the chest.

This jacket has faded and has a strong sense of use. The overall color has faded to the point where it feels white. There are signs of repair in some places. the zipper is damaged and unusable. It can be closed by using buttons. There are marks on both breast pockets where patches have been removed, but they are in a state that will gradually blend in. There is a letter stamp in the area that may have been under the post-stitching. It is not in perfect condition. It is a used item and cannot be returned. Please understand.
