This is one of the locally made boonie hats manufactured during the Vietnam War. Short brim hats were sometimes preferred over long brim hats due to reduced visibility in the jungle, and these locally made boonie hats existed. The fabric has been used and faded. The fabric is what is called "green leaf" fabric. The camouflage is still there to the extent that you can feel the original color, although the overall appearance is a little foggy white. This is a used item and cannot be returned. Please understand.
